STUDENT COUNCIL CAMPAIGN 2
Hello my lovely afterlifers! Flynn mod here to bring you the start of the next student council campaign!! Which means that starting today, all current student council members are no longer a part of the council and must run again to be reelected.
Now, if you don’t know about the student council or what they really do, basically they’re the ones in charge of all school held events and overlook the enforcement of school rules. And here are the positions that come with and are available to be run for during the election:
- President (head honcho. Runs everything and holds meetings)
- Vice President (second in command. Basically follows up the president and fills in for them when they’re absent)
- Secretary (looks after meeting logs and the like)
- Historian (Records pictures, videos, etc)
- Social Chairperson (in charge of seeing how various goals are accepted by the students)
Any character can run for any of the positions above! Characters may even sign up for more than one position but they must be placed in the order of which they prefer the most. But please keep in mind, especially for president and vice president candidates, that they must have the following qualifications:
- Good grades. You got it, this also means attending class and not skipping out and just being a good student. Grades are a pretty big part in this and it won’t exactly reflect well if they get bad grades and skip to goof off somewhere. Teachers will make sure you can’t become a cabinet member if you have bad grades, especially if you cheat on tests too.
- Knowing, following and being ready to enforce all school rules. Yes, this means during class time and even after class hours! Like when you can and can’t eat, curfew etc. It reflects badly on a character when they can’t do these things and teachers won’t want a president or vice who can’t follow rules.
- Be a good speaker and leader type. Speaking in front of the teachers and student body, calling and holding meetings, taking charge and enforcing school rules are things that shouldn’t come as a challenge to them. Wouldn’t be much of a president if you couldn’t do this.
And the school rules consist of the following:
-No eating during breaks
-No eating/talking/sleeping/doing things you aren't supposed to during class
-No leaving/going outside the dorms after 9PM
-No going down to the river
-No threatening/bullying students
-No student created events allowed unless approved by student council
-All teams for special events must be registered through student council
-No destruction of school property
-Attend class
-No running in the halls
-Check out any equipment with an instructor
-Adhear to the dress code: always wear the appropriate school uniform
-No academic dishonesty of any kind
Now, here’s a new small edition to the rules of the campaign this time around, which is especially important for president and vice president candidates. All candidates must have followed all school rules over the past two months. I will personally be looking back at all posts and logs from the past 2 months for each candidate to accumulate the total number of rules violated. If your character has violated more than four, a message will be sent saying that they’re ineligible to run and they will not be on the poll when it’s time to vote. If a candidate has committed an act of academic dishonesty in any shape or form, they will automatically be disqualified as it’s a serious act.
The reason we’re doing this is to keep things fair for all of those candidates who wish to run for election and since, well, they’re the ones enforcing the rules in the first place.
However there is some leniency for rules such as “no going down to the river”, “attend class” and “no leaving the dorm after 9PM”. Because of the recent spike in shadow appearances around the school, we understand that most characters are staying away and not attending class. So with that in mind, so long as the candidates show up for 4 out of the 6 days of the school week, it won’t hurt their reputation. Remember that characters are able to attend class without the shadows bothering them throughout the day, so long as they’re keeping to their lessons and not off doing what they’re not supposed to.
The campaign will begin today and will end May 9th. At that point, a post will be put up with a list of the candidates and their qualifications. It will be an IC vote.
NOW! We come to the final part, which is the signing up part! So if your character will be running, please fill out the form below. If you have any questions please feel free to shoot any and all at me and I will answer ASAP!

Second question the answer is just during school hours. Once school is out they're free to change into whatever clothes they want.

Position(s): President (vice president as second choice)
Qualifications: Haruhi is a very able student, being in the top five in regards to grades - plus, she never cheats! - and she has yet to miss a day of class. She is also the current student body president, so she is very aware of how the student council works in and out. She always keeps students updated on the on-goings of the afterlife, and is willing to help out others when the going gets tough. She knows of all the school rules, though if she breaks one, whether it be on accident or on purpose, she immediately attempts to make amends (especially if it's around an NPC). Haruhi was also the leader of the SOS Brigade when she was alive, so she has plenty of experience in both doing the right thing as well as working with others.
Notes: Also wanted to note that the only rules that I'm aware of Haruhi breaking within the last two months are running in the halls (due to shadow breakout), not wearing the appropriate uniform (because she's currently wearing the SSS one, though she will soon switch to the regular one and apologize to all staff members and students profusely about it repeatedly if she has to), and possibly threatening/bulling (though half of the time it's as a joke and she apologizes for it), but tell me as soon as possible if that's not the case?

Concerning rule violations though, I was able to confirm that Haruhi did run in the halls (here, here, and here), wasn't in the appropriate school uniform (here), and threatened a student (here).
Despite this, Haruhi is safe to run for this election. However, she will receive a scolding from the teachers as she is on borderline disqualification, particularly since she was breaking rules while in the position of acting president. If she breaks any further ones during her candidacy, she will be disqualified.

Position(s) wanted: Secretary, or if not that then Social Chairperson.
Qualifications: Masmi has been going to class, as well as making sure others she is close with goes. She helps her fellow students out as much as she can like with the egg assignment. She is well organized, and detail orientated, seeing how skilled she is with difficult baking recipes. Mami takes the rules seriously, never cheating, always dressing correctly, and following rules.

Position(s) wanted: Historian
Qualifications: She hasn't broken rules yet and wears the uniform during school hours. She does attend class (she's not really sure what else to do since there's no Neighbors Club and theres no An-chan). She has practice keeping things in pristine condition because she was a collector of Kurogane no Necromancer goods when she was alive. She takes very good care of things, despite being young, and is capable of using words that sound very academic at times. Despite that she can be shy at times, she was actually quite popular in her class and even starred in her class's movie for the cultural festival... mostly she just wants an excuse to say she has access to the Akashic Records ok, that is what she will call them.

Position(s) wanted: President and Vice President as backup
Qualifications: Kirino, back when she was alive, was an upstanding student at her school. She held high grades, helped out students and teachers, and was liked by all as a role model for everyone else. She was the star of the track team and was extremely popular amongst the student body. While being in the afterlife, she hasn't broken any rules so far. Well, perhaps the occasional yelling at certain students (read as: Leon) when she first arrived here but that was it. She did join the SSS however, but hasn't actively been apart of their evil doings. She's been more on the sidelines and just talking to the group members.
