Young Forever - Plotting Post!

As mentioned in our previously-posted events lineup for the month, starting from November 9th to the 11th, another glitch is taking place in the afterlife!

Now, you may be asking: What's the glitch, Wade?!

Well, Mun Possible, this glitch is a de-aging one! Characters are going to wake up one morning at a younger age than they normally are, whether as toddlers, children, prepubescent teenagers, etc. Generally they will de-age both physically and mentally, though if your character has some memory issues that you don't want fixed yet, you may only change them physically. The glitch's effect on your characters is also optional, so if you would rather not have them de-aged, that's totally fine! I hope they're responsible babysitters, though...

Characters will be returned to their regularly-aged physical/mental states upon waking up on the 12th, hopefully on dry sheets.

Since it was asked in the previous post, you do not have to use icons of your characters as babbies. If you would like to and don't have enough icon space, however, you are allowed to use an alternate journal. You could also just post an image of your kid character in the tag. Or if you want to get fancy, you may use the code we provided here.

Now for the actual purpose of this post: Plotting! Since this event is not going to have a log and will instead be reliant on you guys posting or making your own logs, feel free to use this post to figure out what you all want to do together! What age is your character going to become? Who's going to take care of your character? Are they going to draw all over the principal office's walls in crayon? Are they going to go on an adventure?! Whatever floats your boat!

I'm going to deage Accelerator to somewhere in the 5-9 range, to when he was still at the Special Ability Institute and therefore before the big "shit hits the fan" event that started with a kid breaking his arm from shoving at Accelerator and snowballed into him being surrounded by tanks. Shiest traumatized emo kid ever, has no control over his powers, been treated like an outcast and a monster by everyone because of his powers, etc.

He's mostly going to try to stay away from others, but in a normal more-unsure-than-avoidant manner plus he'll warn people not to touch him since it... can result in bone breakage. (Though if your character is the type not to listen and you want that to happen, be my guest.)

Levi will be 4-5 years old and a goddamn terror. He grew up on the streets and is about as ratty as it gets. He'll be dressed in old schoolboy Victorian style clothes, shorts and suspenders and a long sleeved shirt that will somehow be very clean (it's Levi, don't worry too much.) He'll kick and scream and tell everyone to FUCK OFF, SIS. Unless you are also a baby, then he might try to be your friend. Especially if you look sad! (Aw.)

Bertholdt will be maybe 2-3. Toddler age. He's a very long baby. Still sweaty and will probably refuse to talk unless you're Annie or Reiner but we DONT HAVE THEM SO. Also crying a lot.

Chihiro will also be a little schoolboy 4-5 year old! Please don't look in his shorts, he's not a girl. He'll be carrying around a pink stuffed bunny and generally being Very Timid.

I love how there isn't a question thread up yet, but anyway! Homura will be reverting into her more adorable self, Moemura. I'm either taking her right after the huge magical girl reveal or just after she makes her wish. Either way, she'll be shy and awkward and adorable, so there's that.

Haruhi's not going to be affected, but she will babysit anyone who's willing and will try to interact with everyone and play nice because BOY SHE LOVES KIDS

Well, Reisuke is already a 4 to 5-year-old child, so he'll likely be unaffected by the glitch. However, he will be confused at the sudden influx of kids, but that's okay, he'd be happy to play with every one of you all the same, so if you'd like to do something with him, I'm open to any ideas~!

Madoka is still going to be her original age but she'll probably at least see if Reisuke is having fun with having more company now... at least she can talk to him without it being awkward since he's a kid to begin with so she might as well take the chance for a slightly less awkward moment.

Would Reisuke be up for playing around with Caius now that he's going to be a little kid, or will he still aim to be the Worst Roommate Ever and try pulling pranks and scaring him? Because there will be tears if Reisuke tries anything.

Yuri is going to be giant angstbutt kiddo who just watched her brother and sisters get shot in front of her because she fucked up so she'll be a walking child murder warning, just a heads up.

Midorima will be middle school Midorima. He will look almost exactly the same because basketbutt art. But at the very least, he'll be a tiny bit more open to conversing with people..? A little bit less of a butt but not really. He'll be babysitting his roommate but I'm totally open to other stuff.

Ichigo I am not sure. See, she's got middle school sweets obsessed face, the start of the first series in which she's aimless loser Ichigo, and then cutie patootie lil grandma's girl. SO IDFK MAN. Anyone want her for anything!?!!?

Mary isn't going to be affected by the glitch, so she's going to be very happy to suddenly discover there are a lot more kids her age around. She'll also feel pretty good about realising there are lots of younger people around now, it'll make her feel more grown up in comparison.

Caius will be a timid little boy who's easily scared and prone to crying. Monsters, ghosts, getting locked in a room by himself, you name it and he'll probably get teary eyed over it.

Kotarou is going to be a toddler who's going to be babysat by his roommate. He's going to be one of those kids who's constantly curious and is always getting into trouble. While he's going to be embarrassed about the glitch once it's over, he'll be really appreciative towards anyone that looked out for him while he was younger.

Umi I don't know. Either she's doesn't de-age and she cares for some of the children running around or she becomes little flag girl Umi who would be very upset over her father and not being able to raise the flags anywhere.

Madoka (as her normal self) will be checking up on the regular kids she knows since it'll be less awkward than talk to all her suddenly now kid and a lot less comprehendable friends.. she'll come search out Mary and make sure she's having fun with the others!! Maybe even give her some responsibility to help look after them you've got to pull your weight now Mary.

And does Caius want to come man up and learn how to play baseball with little Leon because he might actually be slightly less insufferable this time.

also i would be totally okay with yuri meeting caius and him pulling her out of an angstbutt attitude to get him to stop crying, or at least try. or they could end up crying together, who knows.

Madoka is going to be her normal age, but she's going to try to do her best to look after all the babbies so if you want your kid to get into trouble and have Madoka-mama come to the rescue and probably panic a lot about it then now is the time! Just tell me and it'll happen and it will be beautiful.

Leon is going to be aged down though to a lot younger, probably about 8 or so... Like this, bless you Dangan Ronpa fandom for once for actually giving me something to work with. His hair actually won't be red though since he dyed it later on, it'll be more brown-ish and shorter since he has to shave it off for baseball purposes. He might actually be a little more cheerful and less insufferable than usually since he won't be as obsessed with acting in a cool/punk rock kind of way. He'll also be obsessed with baseball (which he's going to deny thoroughly after the event) so if you want to get your kid or not-so-kid to get pulled into having to play baseball with him, please tell me. He'll build a team out of you kids yet THEY'RE GONNA STORM THE AFTERLIFE LITTLE LEAGUES.

Sonia will be in the 5-9 year old range. I'll probably be using some fanart when the big day comes. She'll still be a proper young lady, just a lot more gullible and a little less knowledgeable about serial killings and such. She might accuse some people of kidnapping her, at first.

Yamashita will be unaffected because like... he has next to zero canon to go off of as it is, I don't feel like taking him even further into the 'headcanon only' sphere >w> So yeah, he's a dumb dumb teenager boy but he'll try his best with the kids?

Kohaku however will go back to a 9 or 10 year old street musician kid. Not sure if from before or after his supposed father died, yet, but I'm thinking from right after?
So like, he'll be a child of dark personality, less aggressive but more cynical than Kohaku is now. Absolutely obsessed with violin already though. Kind of aimless, kind of hopeless and shit.

So okay, Ishimaru is getting deaged to the 5-8 range. He'll be just as rule obsessed as usual, except he'll be a lot less intense about it and a lot more timid. Expect him to cry more than usual anyway. He'll probably latch on to someone older than him and follow them around, because ~*zomg authority*~.

Greedling is not going to be affected, so yeah, he's stuck on babysitting duty. This will totally end well, because who wouldn't want Greed in charge of small children? If anyone wants him, I'm totally open for anything.

Want to look up to Midorima? He'll be in middle school but still look like a freshman in college. Plus he likes rules and is strict so

Celica is not going to be affected and will just stay her normal age. She's sort of a motherly figure though, so I'm totally up for her taking care of some of the babbies.

Otonashi is going to be de-aged a bit and will look like this bum. He's going to be mostly detached from socializing and will keep to himself, really not caring about... anything. Just going to be going about repetitive, mundane activities like eating and sleeping. He'd open up to little kids at least! Or at least, little girls since he'll be reminded of his sister.

Riki is going to be de-aged by several years, to before he met the Little Busters. As such, he's going to be really depressed and lonely since his parents had both just died. WOW MY CHARACTERS ARE SO DEPRESSING WHEN THEY'RE YOUNGER but look at this cutie.

Eren... I have no idea what I'm going to do with him. If I de-age him, it'll be to before his mother died, so he'll be happier and a cutie patootie. So what if he totally killed a few guys to protect Mikasa-- I mean what. If I don't de-age him then sorry but he'd be an awful parent just saying. He wouldn't know what to do with all of you whippersnappers.
